How it works
- Start with your project. Tell us what you’d like to remodel. We’ll discuss your scope and estimate so you can decide how much you may want to finance.
- Check for offers. Visit Acorn Finance to check for prequalified offers from participating lenders.
- Compare your options. If you receive offers, review the APR, origination fees, repayment term, monthly payment, and total repayment before deciding whether to proceed with a lender.

Financing questions
Does checking offers affect my credit score?
The initial prequalification uses a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. A lender may make a hard inquiry if you proceed with an offer.
Who decides whether I qualify?
Participating lenders determine eligibility, approval, rates, fees, and terms. Prequalification does not guarantee approval.
What can I finance?
You can explore financing for eligible remodeling expenses such as cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, and installation. Confirm which expenses your offer covers with the lender.
Do I have to accept an offer?
You can check available offers without committing to a loan. If you choose an offer, follow the lender’s instructions to complete the application.
Can I add a co-borrower?
Acorn Finance allows you to add a co-borrower after you submit your initial information. Ask the lender how a joint application affects eligibility and repayment responsibilities.
When would I receive the funds?
If your application is approved and you accept the terms, the lender sends the funds directly to you. Timing varies by lender, so confirm it before scheduling a project payment.
