Feng shui, which is a far eastern philosophy, is the science of living in harmony with the environment we are in. The dictionary meaning of feng shui is wind and water. According to feng shui philosophy, there are cosmic, metaphysical energies in our environment that affect us and move constantly. These energies are called ‘chi’. Chi is constantly walking around in the atmosphere, silently and unseen. The purpose of feng shui is to capture this energy in the most beneficial way for us.

Thanks to feng shui, we can organize a home environment in which we feel more comfortable and happy.

Feng Shui is an art of practice that helps us attract success, health, wealth, happiness, positive luck, and energy in our lives. Chi energy is found in nature, in the universe, in our bodies, wherever we live. The spaces that are guided with the right arrangements are fed with the right vibrations and reach the desired goal. But spaces that are decorated with wrong choices and have wrong arrangements become the prisoners of a negative and destructive cycle. Feng Shui practice determines the life quality of a person and allows the standard of living to increase.

Feng shui is the ancient Chinese decoration application method. The purpose of feng shui applications is to invite the life energy Chi to our home.

How to Find Your House’s Feng Shui Direction?

Eastern compass direction: Represents growth and development. It is about good family relationships, social life, friends, and our health. If a family member has a health problem or if family relationships are disconnected, you can decorate your home with wooden furniture and living healthy plants.

Southeast compass direction: Brings abundance to family members. It is about money, fortune, material gain, and abundance. If you want to gain more financial gain and save money, you can place a small ornamental pool or waterfall in your garden; indoors, you can open up an aquarium with luck bamboo, small potted plants, 8 orange fish, and 1 blackfish. If you have problems with your children, if your job requires creativity, if you want to have a child, you should enliven the western compass area by using pastel colors, including metal accessories, choosing white furniture, and seating groups.

Northwest compass direction: Being at the right time in life, in the right place, and with the right person explains the energy of the northwest compass direction. If there are countries you want to see and visit, if you want to attract support energy to your life, if you need people to support you, you should activate the northwest compass direction. Large metal accessories, silvers, gray and white colors should be in the decoration. With this kind of settlement and decoration, we invite people who will contribute to our lives with their goodness. You can also exhibit the objects and accessories you have purchased during your travels in this area.

North compass direction: brings great support and luck, especially for working people to progress in their business life. If you are not where you want it in your job, career, you need to increase the energy of this compass direction.

We need to start by reducing things to make room for positive energy in our homes. It is easy to create free space in a large and spacious house, but it is much more difficult to create free space in small houses. For this, it is necessary to get rid of things. For positive energy to circulate easily in your homes, throw away unnecessary items and refresh your home.

The Top Feng Shui Rules For Every Room

  1. BEDROOM

According to Feng Shui, the most important detail is not having a mirror in the room. If there is a mirror, a screen can be brought in front of it. Lighting and mirrors are powerful elements in Feng Shui. Because they identify with the light. For this reason, both the lighting and the light intensity in the bedroom should be reduced. If the windows are large, you can choose blind curtains. Thin curtains and tulle can interrupt sleep.

One of the distractions that interrupt sleep is electronic devices. Try to reduce the energy from electronic equipment. The headboard will make you feel more confident. If possible, place your bed away from the door and out of sight of the door. Small bedrooms make you feel safer and more peaceful. For this reason, it is recommended to put furniture such as a make-up table and wardrobe in a different room in Feng Shui. It is also recommended not to place furniture or books under the bed for good energy flow. Your bed should not lean against the wall but should be positioned in the middle of the space.

The kitchen is one of the areas where home traffic is the most intense. Therefore, tones such as yellow and white that make us feel good can be used in the kitchen. Warm tones may be your preference in kitchens where sociability is at the forefront. You can use live fruits and vegetables as decoration on your countertop or kitchen table. Lighting that activates positive energy is also a detail that should not be missed.

The location of the kitchen is important as it symbolizes the happiness and nutrition of the family. Placing the kitchen tools according to the elements in a way that they do not damage each other is another important point to be considered. For example, the dishwasher and oven should not be side by side.

While designing the layout of the dining room, be careful not to block the energy flow. Mirrors, large chandeliers can therefore be used comfortably in the dining room.

If possible, the dining table should be placed in the center of the room. Much better if you like rounded, retro furniture; Because in the dining room, it is generally recommended to use round furniture.

The daylight is very beautiful. You can use auxiliary lighting such as floor lamps and lampshades to illuminate dark corners. The walls should be painted in natural colors as much as possible. Plants with green round leaves are recommended to cleanse the negative energy that exists in the hall.
